Customer Ratings & Reviews

No issues, works as intended, really enjoying using the product.

Great console controller. Used it for a couple years

I prefer this controller over the 360 because they finally fixed the dead. You can use any 3.5 mm headset and it is very durable. I wish it was rechargeable. Other than that, perfect.

The latest revision of the Xbox controller has several subtle improvements to the already great Xbox one controller. The textured grip offers a nice feel, and the clean black and white theme isn't terrible either. The buttons and sticks all work well, none of them feel cheap or have weird mechanics. Don't kid yourself though - the Elite controller still sits atop the Xbox One controller offerings as the best controller you can get for one. One feature that caught my eye was the addition of Bluetooth support for use on Windows 10 PCs. This is a nice feature so you don't have to use a wire or the Xbox wireless adapter to use the controller...unfortunately I was kind of let down by it in practice though. After initially pairing to my PC, it was fine, but after powering it down and then back up it was connecting and disconnecting constantly, with the searching slow blink going until finally it gave up and shut down. It seems that the available firmware update fixed that issue - but you have to know enough about Xbox controllers to know to use a micro USB cable to your PC, and then open the Xbox accessories app to install it. Or you can pair it to an Xbox One and update over the air, but you need to have one available to do that. What was really disappointing to me and what is costing it a star is the lack of features over Bluetooth. The headset jack does not work. Neither will the chatpad. It works as a controller, but that's it. No audio, no chatpad, so you are either using a wired headset to your PC, a gaming wireless headset, or using speakers. Bluetooth headsets usually have to much latency for gaming, so you are really limited on your options when using Bluetooth. When using a USB cable or the Xbox wireless adapter all of the features and peripherals work as you would expect them to, but part of the marketed appeal of the controller was being able to use it wirelessly without a dongle. While that does work, not being able to use any peripherals on the controller is a significant limitation. Overall, this is the best of the non-Elite controller lineup and a nice revision to the Xbox controller line...sadly the Bluetooth is very limited on a PC, to the point where you may still want to use a wire or the dongle to get full features.

I got this and i love the color. My old controller got chewed by my dog

Amazing Controller love the color. Would love to get another one.

Just take the regular Xbox one 3.5mm Jack controller and put a awesome color on it. You don't need any other controller. Did I mention the color was awesome.

Standard XBox controller... not much else to say about it other than the color is cool

Its great, the xbox controller offer natural hand placement and intuitive button layout, reducing fatigue during long gaming sessions.

This became my go to controller for my Xbox One S. I have had this for four years and it still works as good as new.

Sadly enough, I originally gave into the hype and picked up an Xbox One Elite Controller. I personally love that controller, however, within a couple of months the right analog stick became loose & then started drifting. When the new redesigned white Xbox One S controller was announced I decided it would be a solid replacement. Suffice it to say, it's been great. I still miss using the elite controller features, however, this controller I can at least say has put up with my abuse. I've had it since release in August and it's still fine to this day. I definitely recommend the new redesigned controllers if you're in the market for one.

Really like this color scheme, still use this today on my PC, Only wish the charging port was usb C

Awesome controller. Had it for a long time and it hasnt failed me at all. The quality of the material is perfect.

Great controller for call of duty .. apex .. r6 … etc

Great grip, what I like is the controller has updates itself. The battery has a charge very long as well. Its been 2 months and the batteries have not run out.

Nice red colors, works fine on PC too and on Xbox and phones.

I originally purchased a new Sony PlayStation 4 Dual Shock Bluetooth remote to connect to my Amazon Fire TV Stick to play games. I had to use ADB to obtain the Bluetooth address of the Fire Stick and then use another program to assign that address to the Sony controller just to get the Fire Stick to recognize the Sony Controller. Headache. It connected and worked at a short distance, less than 5 feet away. Beyond that and the connection would drop. It worked fine on my Windows 10 laptop and Android tablet. I returned the Sony DS4 remote and bought the SteelSeries Stratus XL. The Stratus XL turned out the be worse than the Sony DS4. This was recognized by the Amazon Fire Stick but would not keep connected. I had further issues with my Windows PC and Android tablet with the A and B buttons going out during play. I would have to turn it off then back on to get the buttons to work again for only a minute or two. You also need their software installed on the Windows PC in order for it to be recognized. After all that hassle I decided to exchange the Stratus XL for this Xbox One Bluetooth controller. This was recognized and paired instantly with the Amazon Fire TV Stick. No extra dongle required like the Xbox 360 wireless remote that connects via 2.5Ghz frequency. So far none of the buttons work as a Home button for the Fire Stick which is a small set back as everything else is working fine. This one also connects to my Windows 10 laptop as it's a Microsoft product and designed for just that purpose. No issues with gaming on my laptop. Also no issues with pairing and gaming on my Android tablet. This was a great buy!

The response time on this controller was almost immediate!

Replacement controller for the son and he seems to like it since he picked it out

I am not a big fan of video games. From time to time, I like to play sports games like FIFA/PES. I have used multiple game controller including the old Xbox controller, PS3/4 controllers, and other third-party products. This new version of Xbox controller, is the best I have used and I think it is the best on the market. Highly recommended. You can use it for Xbox and PC.
