I have noticed this on almost every xbox one controllers. I have 6 of them and I've seen this on 5 out of the 6.

Batteries died 2quick

However I found myself replacing the batteries after only a few days. The controller is good, no complaints on the quality. Just wish that it didn't drain the batteries so much.
