The controller is your standard Microsoft controller designed to work with the Xbox One. It arrived on time with no damage. The controller paired easily and all of the controls functioned as designed.

This Best Buy exclusive xbox one controller is amazing. It feels great with a matted/rubberized texture underneath for better grip. The color is just like the picture above. A vibrant blue that stands out, when the family or friends come over I get compliments. My favorite thing about all these new generation controllers is you don't have to use an 3.5 jack adapter (i.e turtle beach etc.) you can plug in any headphones you like. Turning virtually any head set into a gaming headset.

The controller is great. I have been using it for about 2 years and has great response and durability.

I prefer the construction of the 360 controller, but these are pretty nice too. It's taken a couple of drops on carpet and is still alive and looks good. The grips on the bottom are nice, and the coloring is cool.

I really like this controller. I had the day 1 version and I really liked it as well, but it annoyed me that I had to buy a stereo adapter for most headsets to work. I thought we had moved past proprietary connections with cell phones, and now we have. That jack is still there, but now you have the option to connect directly via the 3.5 mm jack that has been added. Additionally the entire feel of the controller has been redesigned. The D-pad has been improved, and the bumpers have a much smoother feel when depressed. A texture has been added to the casing so that it won't slip out of your hand as easily. Overall it seems like while tweaking the design to make it sleeker, they also improved some known issues. The connectivity to the Xbox and other devices has been greatly improved with this model, but not without room for further improvement. The wireless range with the Xbox has been doubled for more comfortable play across a large room, and you no longer need to plug into the Xbox via usb to update the controller. Additionally and probably most importantly Bluetooth connectivity has been added to this device, meaning that you now can connect wirelessly to a variety of Bluetooth enabled devices. My laptop does not have Bluetooth I was surprised to learn (thanks HP), but I was able to connect to my Android phone, and amazingly my Amazon Fire stick! My only concern with this function that could be corrected with an update is that it was not a seamless operation switching between paired devices, I needed to completely unpair from the Fire Stick, run downstairs and after several attempts to repair with the Xbox finally reset both and got it. Overall, this is a very good controller that I believe is worth the investment, even if you have a fully functional controller. The ability to use the same controller on all of your (Bluetooth) devices is a big deal.

Nothing bets playing games with a loved one. Two players in the same room just adds to the fun! This is the exact same controller that came with the console. Nothing special - good battery life.

I love the rubber grips for you fingers in the underside. Definitely helps keep the controller from slipping out of your hand and smasking your TV when you rage because you just got pwnd by some newb. It has all the things a good controller needs: buttons, thumb sticks, and it even vibrates when you get killed by some 12 year old kid! Best part is, it's red! Definitely a great buy.

Being primarily a PS person I hate to admit it but the XBOX controllers are simply the best. Great layout, reaction and feel. Gotta have two so go ahead and pick one up with your gaming system.

I bought this for the subtle coloring if the controller. I love the texture of the new controllers. I don't need a high end programmable one so for the Black Friday price this was a win for me.

I was really excited about getting this once mine I got when I bought the console stopped working. I was a little skeptical on it when I felt of the new finish but I have gotten used to it now!

Well constructed controller and really reliable. The grips are really improved from the standard controller and you can feel the rubberized diamond grip on both sides. The package came without any issues. I Could've gone for a lower priced controller at the time but I'm still satisfied with my purchase. Keep in mind it leaves noticeable marks after heavy use.

As this is the standard type of controller for the Xbox One S, you know what you are buying. I got a black one so it was easy to differentiate between controller #1 and #2. Brilliant, I know.

It feels great and you can play just like with the old 360 controller. The price is a little heavy but I got it on Black Friday and it was a lot more reasonable. I would definitely recommend.
