Even though it looks somewhat the same, it is sleeker and has textured grip for better gaming feel and the Bluetooth connectivity allows for easy PC gaming experience. Battery life is a little longer than older versions.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a Playstation player for a good portion of my life, but I have owned an XBox One and 360, and I have to say that one thing Microsoft got right, was the feel of their controllers. Don't get me wrong, PS controllers are great and feel great, but XBox controllers have the perfect grip. I use this controller for PC gaming now and it feels solid and natural. The buttons and sticks all feel smooth and none of them jiggle at all. I do have to say, I bought this controller awhile back and the left stick did start to drift after a few weeks of use, but that may have just been a fluke, because the replacement hasn't had a single issue. Yet. Haha. Controllers in general are a bit pricey, so I would recommend waiting for them to go on sale.

After 2 years of painfully deliberation the deciding factor and the very sole reason I went against my loyal beliefs was the feel of the Xbox controller. It's ergonomic, comfortable and very natural to use. It becomes second nature the instant you pick it up! Love love love Microsoft and their genius! Great work!
