It is not as sturdy as the 360 controller and they have had to come out with different updated versions of the Xbox one controller because it sucks so bad. I've been through 3 controllers in a short amount of time. I'll admit that I do have children and that is the probable cause of failure from these devices but I am comparing them to the Xbox 360 controllers which were dropped many many times and even thrown by yours truly to no significant damage.
