Being Christmas, I went to a distant store and purchased the controller. The next day, the online order arrived. Shortly after Christmas, another one arrived but different style!?. I hope BB let’s me return the two “extras”. I think shopping in store is better unless you have the time to deal with the online order confusion.

I wouldn't have bought the USB adapter but the bluetooth connectivity with my PC was pretty buggy and it also didn't support wireless audio without it. Still beats the PC support of a PS4 controller so I am glad I made the purchase but Microsoft makes it really hard to stand behind their products.
