Every controller comes with a 90-day limited warranty, though, so if you're still having an issue and the controller is within the coverage period, please contact Xbox Support for possible repair or replacement. This new unit has the same shell, but the spring rates under the buttons feel less responsive (flimsier?) than the original. Not a massive difference and I hope the new controller lasts as long as the original.
