Works well, however, constantly desyncs and turns off randomly when batteries still have full charge. Also, received controller about a month ago and right bumper doesn’t register sometimes.

    Clearly a refurb

This controller clearly is not new. Right off the bat, the vibration started making a high pitch noise every time it activated. I didn't feel like driving back to exchange it so that was my bad, but now after the 30 day return policy is ended , the controller is making a high pitch sound randomly all the time when it's on. it changes in frequency and it's so annoying, I'm tired of all these refurbs being sold as new items. Why is it impossible to find a new controller nowadays? I'm willing to update and delete my review if this issue is amended

Microsoft has a grasp on the market for controllers. You can tell these are made cheaply and built to last 6 months if you’re lucky. I put a lot time into my gaming and have to buy a few every year.

It’s a controller no more no less It does what it has to do control I haven’t found any controller At this time that stands up to heavy and prolonged use but Xbox makes a pretty good one so I stay with Xbox controllers

I bought this controller for my kids, because the original one started having issues after one of them got mad and threw it. This would be identical to the stock wireless controller that came with the system.

Needed a new controller since my other one was going out. I like the simple upgrades to the joysticks but it started to squeak alot so I took it back. Maybe I got a bad one but I'll never know.

This one only lasted 5 mths.. should have bought the warranty. My fault. My son doesn’t bang them they just get worn and the trigger stops working. They are not made well at all and are priceyZ.

These controllers have a problem with the thumb switches wearing out, make sure you take out the insurance. Microsoft has a ninety day warranty and they start to give you trouble soon after.

Within a week of purchase, the controller started disconnecting and some buttons wouldn’t work. To this day the controller disconnects and sometimes you have to keep pressing the button for it to work.

      Hi Jenifer,

We're sorry that there's an issue with your Xbox wireless controller. If it's still within Best Buy's return period, we recommend exchanging it for a new one. If that's not possible, please contact Xbox Support for assistance under the controller's 90-day limited manufacturer's warranty here: https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/wireless-controller-solution

    Works Fine

The controller works fine. I bought this to replace my elite xbox controller. I don't use it on Windows 10 so I can't comment on how it works there. The grip and accents really aren't worth the price over a regular xbox controller.

As an owner of 3 Xbox consoles I've seen my share of controllers. Starting with the 360 controller in comparison to the Xbox 1 controllers there tanks. Day 1 Xbox controllers were of a lesser build regarding overall durability. And now there worse.

I find the Xbox One controllers to be a little awkward. They are too fat and not long enough. I feel like the controller moves around too much in my hands. If you own an Xbox, you probably need this, so I would recommend it to a friend.

You don't have a choice which wireless controller you can buy for XB1 so you might as well buy this one. It's actually not a bad controller, and I prefer it to the one that comes with the PS4, but still...

Microsoft needs to get their act together when making these controllers. They really don’t last long. They develop issues a few months after purchase. Make sure you purchase GS warranty. You’ll need it.

Within the first day I used controller. Triggers were tight and the right one keeps sticking. Never loosened up and still sticking a month later. I like standard controllers better.

Bought this remote for my son and we just had to use the factory warranty on it. Granted they just dropped shipped him a new on but it only made it for 3 months before the right bumper broke.

I like the look but, with tge insurance I purchased it still didn't come with the features I had before. I returned my black wireless remote for this white "NEW" model, but to my dismay I found that it didn't come with a rechargeable battery pack like the other and if that wasn't bad enough, it cost me more!! I asked the store clerk the reason for this and was told the model type I had was discontinued. I don't feel I should have to pay the difference between prices if my product is insured and guaranteed to be replaced. Very disappointed with Best Buy for this reason alone, they have made product replacement insurance a joke for any future purchases in my book.

This was a great replacement for the Xbox Elite controller that is now in 1 million pieces after raging on Dark Souls 3. I did notice the right stick drifts when trying to play games.
