Don't buy an Xbox
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't like Xbox, buy a PlayStation. The Xbox keeps freezing. The controller works fine but doesn't come with rechargeable batteries.

Posted .Hey there,
We're sorry that you're having an issue with your Xbox One. If you're experiencing freezes during gameplay, there are some easy solutions. Go here to troubleshoot and resolve the issue: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/troubleshooting/game-freeze-solution
While the Xbox Wireless Controller comes with two AA batteries, it sounds like you may be interested in rechargeable ones. We suggest getting the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit, which offers up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge and can be fully recharged in fewer than four hours. You can find it on BestBuy.com here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-xbox-one-play-charge-kit-black/9008298.p?skuId=9008298
Hope that helps,

First one: defective. Second one: Defective.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seriously, I don’t know if Best Buy is selling broken controllers or not. I bought this controller back in April for my gaming PC. The first one was defective. I took it back and was shipped a new one. Same problem if not worse. I didn’t bother to turn it back because of this Pandemic and I didn’t want to keep bothering BB’s reps, so I decide to tolerate it. The A button is busted and the top RT is busted. I mainly play FFXIV and Destiny. The A and RT buttons are “essential” in those games and it’s very frustrating when I can’t jump property in Destiny or the hot bars skipping an extra space in FFXIV. PS4 controller works just fine, only problem with that is I can’t play wirelessly and PC uses Xbox layouts. If this is an Xbox thing, I’m staying far away from their products because of this.

Terrible Quality!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft knowingly designs these controllers to break after 6-12 months of regular use. I am an adult who doesn't share my controller and handles my items with care. The left bumper ALWAYS breaks within 12 months of use. Additionally, the thumbsticks deteriorate and buttons occasionally stick. The quality of these controllers make me loathe Microsoft as much as gamers loathe cheaters in online games. Yes, I keep buying them because I have to in order to use my xbox console and play with my xbl friends. Well played Microsoft- they make more off ocntrollers than their consoles.

Known defects make this a bad purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I unfortunately can't recommend any Microsoft controller as they have a known defect where the bumpers will start failing. They'll eventually either stop registering inputs, or start doing inputs on their own. If you Google "Xbox One controller bumpers not responding" you'll find thousands of people complaining about this. This isn't fixed on the new model of the controller either, the one that has an eight directional d-pad. On top of this flaw, Microsoft only warranties their controllers for three months. This is unacceptably low for controllers that I've had nothing but bad luck with. They're $60 controllers, and Microsoft won't stand behind them. I've had better luck with the much cheaper Power-A controllers that are half the price. They feel substantially worse and do feel cheaper, but at least they don't fail in four months.
