    Not Durable

After using this controller for 4 months it just up and quit. Contacted best buy and Microsoft and they said there was nothing they could do about it. Hooked it up to my XB1 via cable. After awhile it started to work. Used it for another month and it did the same thing. Hence this being my only controller I was upset. Hooking it back up via cable and it worked again. Took it to a local gaming store and traded it in for a regular controller.

Controllers are poorly built - already broken

I don’t know if Microsoft started using cheaper plastics for the Joystick portion of the controllers but I’ve bought two controllers and both have broken in only a few months of use and these controllers were not taking hard use. Buy the warranty! I’ll be exchanging these two as soon as I can. Hopefully Microsoft takes notice. A controller at the price point shouldn’t break in under a month:

I have had plenty of Xbox Controllers but this one I received was not a great one. The controller was not aligned properly so the edges were a bit sharp because one side was sticking out. Ive gotten used to it and returning it was more of a hassle than keeping it but it is what it is. Does the job. Will probably order a controller skin to help make it feel better when holding it.

This controller was excellent the first day of gaming. Performance quickly drops off and becomes barely adequate for normal gameplay.

I'm so sick of having to replace xbox controllers multiple times a year simply because stick drift makes it unplayable.

We bought this for my son's Birthday, June 19 and the return policy will not let us return it. We needed time to troubleshoot but could not return it after June 12th. First day we got it it worked for about an hour or 2. Computer says it is paired but it does not work unless the wire is connected. The controller itself is nice and heavy but expensive for a wired only controller.

I was very excited to order this controller as it is my favorite color. I unpacked it, connected it to the my Xbox and the controller wouldn’t stay registered and if it did, it wouldn’t work. I tried all the trouble shooting with no luck. After researching further, it appears that this is a common problem. I am returning ASAP and getting a better controller. It’s also very cheaply made in comparison to other Xbox controllers. HUGE letdown

Every one of these have the same "drift" problem. Get the Geek Squad plan so you can at least replace it once.

For the first 2 weeks, the controller worked very well and I was impressed with its performance. However, after about 2 weeks the right bumper made a weird clicking sound and stopped working all together. Shortly after, the left analog stick became loose and started to malfunction. This controller was good for a couple of weeks, but its long term durability is very poor.

    Stick Drift - No Bueno

BE CAREFUL. The very first day I purchased this item, went home and hooked it up to the Xbox and noticed I had analog stick drift right out of the box. Tried to calibrate it via software updates and it didn’t do anything. I figured for $60 this wouldn’t be an issue right out of the box, this typically happens after years of playing.
