Headphone jack doesn’t work properly
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent $80 on this controller and the headphone jack barely works. It causes my mic to echo and I have to hold it in a certain spot for it to work properly. I thought it was my headset but I purchased a new headset and the problem still exists. Please help me out

Headphone Jack Defective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have been through multiple controllers because the hard wired headphone jack only lasts 30-60 days. Much higher expectations for Microsoft. We ultimately upgraded to wireless headphones to avoid this issue (but it cost us a lot more). Perhaps this is what Microsoft intended all along.

Defective
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked it up in store, everything seemed fine, all the buttons worked properly except the A button. Had a difficult time with that specific button not responding or double-inputting. Returned it after two days and ordered the newer model.

Seems to be defective
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this controller and it was defective out the box wouldn’t respond on the right bumper. I exchanged it and the connect button wouldn’t disengage so it wouldn’t constantly be searching to pair with the Xbox. Finally settled on a Red controller.

Bought what was supposed to be a brand new item...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this controller brand new from the Best Buy app and never did it say refurbished item. If that was the case I wouldn’t have bought it. Also only reason why I can tell that it wasn’t new because the controller was dirty and had some blemishes.

Not durable!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t know how many wireless controllers I’ve bought my son. He goes through them like drawls ::shrugs:: These Xbox controllers are crappy! Owned it for less than a month and the port where you plug in your headset is already shot (not working for him.)

External and Internal malfunction
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller shuts off on its own. While I am playing and I press and hold a button, the controller shuts off. The cursor keeps moving down to the bottom right corner of the television. I think there is something wrong with the right analog stick.

STICK DRIFT!!!!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I’ve had the controller for about 2 or so weeks. Only used it for about 30 mins, and the stupid left stick got stick drift. Not even after 30 mins of using this. I’d expect this from a used controller, but not from a new controller.
