But I bought this primarily to pair with an Apple TV to play some games on it, and it works just great. I could have gone for a PS controller or one of the SteelSeries (they both work with Apple TV), but honestly I like the ergonomics of the Xbox one better; it feels more comfortable in hand. These use 2 AA batteries, and they do run out quick. While there are several 3rd party kits available with rechargeable batteries and nice charging stands, they are of much lower capacity. I use rechargeable AAs instead.

This one had great two-tone color (blue/gray) and he loves how reactive a new controller can be while playing.

Considered getting the Microsoft customizable controller for $80, but too expensive. She only plays minecraft, but she's totally happy with the nice gradient color. :)

A worthwhile upgrade. The blue is also a nice touch if you're looking for something a bit different to the influx of white controllers

Not as solid as the Elite controller but if your not looking to spend 150.00 for a controller 64.99 is a good alternative. Very pleased with the new color line.
