Kind of annoying but still useable. Otherwise great.

I use the controller for classic video games and the D-pad is perfect for old school gaming. Besides the D-pad, the analog sticks feel great and the triggers are responsive. These controllers have a matte finish which I love because fingerprints and smudges are kept to a minimum. My only complaint is the controller feels a little small when compared to it's next gen piers, but don't let that stop you from giving one a try.
