Looking for a second controller to match my gaming laptop, I picked this one due to the gradient color effect. When I opened the box and held it for the first time, the plastic used to for the body of the controller felt light and cheap. It didnt feel like a normal Microsoft controller so I assume it has something to do with the materials needed to give the color effect they were going for. The body also creaked when gripping in my right palm which also drove me crazy. The controller was overall functional just as any official Xbox controller, however I wasn't happy with the feel and creaky-ness so I ended up taking it back.

Purchased for my kids and works fine. We are not gamers but it works fine for us and keeps the kids quiet (and happy).

My daughter loves this color scheme. The two-toned accent and all blue buttons made her happy. As with all products I've received via shipping from Best Buy, this product came packaged well to ensure it camein great shape. Zero dead zones on the thumbsticks and connected to the Xbox right away. I have had generic controllers that would lose connection before. Buy Microsoft's controllers for this reason.

I was very suspect in the quality in Microsoft's first run of XBOX One controllers. My 360 controllers went through quite a bit and not a one was ever damaged, whereas a simple drop cracked one of the controllers that came with my console. The new run of controllers has a noticeably better feel to the build quality. The addition of the 3.5mm jack is a welcome addition. Additionally, the new textured back makes the feel of the controller better all around. Lastly, the color on the controller is beautiful and quite stunning.

This is a great Controler I have 3 Xbox ones in the house so having different color controllers helps keep them organized
