It may not be the Xbox Elite or Razer controller, but the responsiveness and hand-feel is great for me. I've never had any issues with a Microsft controller using their rechargeable batteries, so I can't think of any negatives (besides that it is all black, so it's hard to spot on my desk when the TV is the only light source).
