    The Xbox controller worked fine with a standard micro USB I had to connect to my PC. No batteries required when you are connected with the micro USB. Warning: it will not work on all micro usb cables. The first one I connected did not work but that cable still works fine to charge my Kindle. I luckily had another micro usb cable and worked perfect.

    My controller came fresh from Microsoft thru the people at Best Buy. I was told this as I went into purchase one and they were restocking them. After I got this I hurried home and unbox it. I quickly did and put the batteries in and synced it to my Xbox One. It worked like a charm. Except my A button presses. They seemed to not register when I held the controller a certain. It only when I am playing one of the apps such as youtube or twitch. As far as game play goes the button works fine. But I am a bit disappointed by this. I just wish I had taken this back and got a new one that fixes this problem.
