    My controller came fresh from Microsoft thru the people at Best Buy. I was told this as I went into purchase one and they were restocking them. After I got this I hurried home and unbox it. I quickly did and put the batteries in and synced it to my Xbox One. It worked like a charm. Except my A button presses. They seemed to not register when I held the controller a certain. It only when I am playing one of the apps such as youtube or twitch. As far as game play goes the button works fine. But I am a bit disappointed by this. I just wish I had taken this back and got a new one that fixes this problem.
