He prefers this controller over the wired. We have gone through multiple wired controllers. Also purchased the warranty on it. It is the best protection plan because my son plays very hard and it doesn't last long. Only issue we have is that the wireless controller drains the batteries fast if you are playing for long duration. We had to get the rechargeable batteries that helps. Otherwise, it's a good controller.
