(Microsoft should have included the headphone jack in the original, but at least they got it right this time). Highly recommend upgrading if you haven't already.

Wasnt expecting it to have Haptic feedback with the triggers when playing certain games but that came as a pleasant surprise and made those games more immersive,

In order to stay within his bedroom color scheme I got red. (will be getting another one). From my observation, he appears to be enjoying his new controller.

Simple plug and Play install. Not all games (on PC) are optimized for a gamepad, but the ones that are: this controller is lag-free and works as expected. The con: Quite overpriced, but that is the cost that console gamers pay to play.

The birthday hasn't arrived yet so I really can't comment on how it actually works but since my grandson specified this model, I am sure it will be fine.

Addition of headphone jack and Bluetooth connectivity for PC are additions! I often use one with Xbox and one with PC on Bluetooth. Works flawlessly.

Microsoft's controllers are the most ergonomic in my opinion. The addition of bluetooth to this version makes it the most versatile and well built controller you can buy
