Bought this for my boyfriend, he loved it and the color finish is beautiful.

What a letdown. After less than a year of regular use, the right analog stick started drifting. As you all know, this renders 99% of the Xbox's library unplayable. Furthermore, the micro USB charging port came loose and no longer charges the battery, coincidentally around the same time. I have to hold the controller and cable at a certain angle to carry a charge, making it impossible to charge the controller while it's in use. Please note that I am not violent or forceful with my controllers - in fact, I handled this one even more gently than usual because it was new. I'm giving this pretty piece of junk a 2-star review because, while poorly constructed and intentionally not built to last, it is a very handsome design. The rubber grips feel great and I loved the raised bumps on the thumbsticks. Until the problems arose, it was the best and most comfortable Microsoft controller I'd ever owned. This is a typically deceptive business tactic used not only by MS but Apple and other major tech companies. Products are intentionally made to become defective after a year or less so you, the buyer, are forced to make an annual purchase. Save yourself some money and buy an older model Xbox One controller, preferably a first or second gen, before this practice was commonplace. My five year old controller still works fine.

Good, durable controllers. Analog sticks don't seem to develop drift like PS4 controller do, but to be fair, I don't use them nearly as often. I am not a fan of the rounded area the main button are in. It causes button presses to be inconsistent sometimes, especially if you are used to PS4 controller. Yep, you can see my bias, but it is based purely on ease of use, I like both consoles and have always had both.
