He loves the durability and feel of the controller. I was originally going to purchase it at Wal Mart but felt slighted by their customer service because they couldn't tell me if it supported the headset connection my son uses and they wouldn't let me see the inside the package to make that determination. Went to Best Buy and they were knowledgeable of the controller and matched the price of Wal mart.

The wireless controller never loses signal and it was very easy to connect. I just wish it could help them write a paper!

XBOX Chrome Red Wireless Controller

This color matches well with color chrome blue. I snagged this on sale during Black Friday. For some reason the different colored controllers are more expensive than standard black. This controller is very durable with parts and less button sticks than older versions of controllers. Best used with some rechargeable batteries on hand. I always keep a couple battery charge stations in basement.

Overall I like the feel of this one and it's slightly different from the one that comes with the console. The fade between the black and purple looks amazing too.
