It seems I need a new one every 6 months. Either a button stops working or the joystick drifts. When new they are great but they just don't hold up over time. Microsoft knows you need their controllers and they continue to put out poor quality and overcharge. They are a necessary evil if you have an Xbox so have to buy it anyway. Just buy it when it's on sale.
