So you wind up having to replace them. That's just the way it is. The controller does what it's suppose to, until it doesn't. When you have a gaming controller, just be aware that sooner or later, you're going to need to replace it, depending on how often you use it and how you treat it.

I also partake in using it regularly and enjoy it myself as well. I do notice a slight drift at times in one of the joysticks, which I hear from many people that Xbox controllers just don't last like they expect they would for the price.
