Very true, this Xbox Wireless Controller is designed to work with the entire Xbox One family of consoles (Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X) and Windows 10 PCs and tablets. It's not backwards compatible with Xbox 360 or the original Xbox.

Great remote, Texture is an improvement
