The revised USB dongle is way smaller than the first one.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Its an xbox controller + the wireless adapter for a windows PC. drivers can be a little fiddly because they use the "it should work straight away" policy instead of the "here are the drivers" policy. I know that for me it did not work straight away so i had to go into device manager, delete it, and try again a couple of times. Pairing process is indicative of Bluetooth technology, so it would be nice if the dongle could work as a general Bluetooth receiver, but it only connects to the controller. Recommended for a friend because while it is still expensive, its cheaper than buying the controller and the adapter separately or at least was when I got it.

Need a Controller to use for PC

However, when on PC and connecting it via bluetooth or the dongle, be prepared to repair the device often. It seems like every time I shut the controller off or it goes to "sleep" after inactivity, I have to repair the device on waking or turning it back on. The Xbox button will slowly flash endlessly until I do, as if the device never existed. Using a USB cable presents no such issues, but if I'd wanted a wired controller I wouldn't have bought a wireless controller.
