Don't expect to be blown away. If you have ever owned a 360 controller, this controller is practically identical. But to Microsoft's credit it is a good, quality upgrade. The buttons feel reactive and have a natural but sensitive click that you expect, the triggers have a seamless glide, and the joysticks feel so smooth you wonder if they built them with petrified butter? Its quality for sure, but the price makes you wonder- is it much better? Very debatable. I will say- the wireless adapter worked with nearly zero effort on Windows 10. Plug in the adapter, turn on the controller, and... that's it.

So far, so good. A little worried about the dongle because I keep having to reboot, but the controller itself is great.

Gave this to my son for his birthday to use with XBox one and his computer. No issues do far. He likes it. Easy hook up.

Not really a gamer. I bought a Radeon video card and was given a 3 month gamepass for 3 months. So I went to best buy and bought this remote for my PC. This works great, no lag and the wireless adapter works 14' away from the PC. If you have a PC and need a good remote this is it. Feels very natural in your hands. Didn't have to load any driver, plugged it in and started playing.

Simple setup and works as it should!! Allowed me to connect my older controller with no problems as well!

I bought this when my original xbox one controller went out. It's very easy to pair and works flawlessly on my pc.

Ability to have a direct connection and a wireless charged battery is a nice touch. Controller worked right out of the box.

This controller did not disappoint when I decided to start gaming on my laptop! I got the bundle with the adapter since I had heard that it was sometimes necessary, but that's not the case! The controller can connect to my laptop via Bluetooth and works just fine as long as I'm pointing it at my laptop. With the adapter plugged in, you do get a lot more mobility, so it really depends on how you game. Haven't had any issues so far and I don't expect to!

Plugged in and worked first time. No controller better than the Xbox controllers on PC.

I got this as part of a Bday gift to my BF. He wanted a wireless controller he can use with his laptop, so obviously he also needed the adapter. When I saw them packaged together, it was awesome. It was about 5/10$ cheaper than having to buy them separately, and while it only comes with plain black- it fulfills the role it needs to. My boyfriend loves it and it works great. Thanks Best Buy!

Plug and play on the PC. Works great for PC games that play better with a controller.

I needed a controller that I could use on my computer. I discovered that Microsoft made a windows 10 version of the Xbox controller. It came with the wireless adapter, cable extender, and of course the controller. Set up was plug and play. It works great! Most of my steam library has controller support so it’s just like playing on an Xbox.

This is a great gift to give your gamer boyfriend. A present to switch things up without breaking the bank. He's mostly a PC gamer, but has played with every console that ever came out so this was a great way to combine the two worlds. The item itself is pretty standard, sleek, comfortable in the hand. No problems with the adapter.

Solid easy to use and set up, I bought it to replace a corded version.

*Please note that this was used on PC only, not XBox* This controller is really quite confortable and responsive. I played about 30 hours with it and find it way more comfortable than any other out there. My issue with the controller is that the wireless connection has a lot of loopholes to go through, and mine did not work at all. Even so, i would buy this again because the layout is perfect.

I prefer the feel and control of a controller when playing racing games and the Xbox wireless controller for Windows is the perfect solution. Connection is easy, just plug in the USB and Windows takes care of the rest. Wireless range is great as I can easily be 10 to 15 feet away from my PC and still have no connectivity issues. I did find that the batteries do not last all that long so I invested in the rechargeable battery pack, problem solved.

Works really well with my Acer Nitro laptop for playing games you just plug in the adapter, sync with the controller and start playing. The only complain I have is it doesn't tell you how to turn the controller off (you just hold down the guide button for 5 sec.)
