With that said, I never purchased this controller and one of the two employees that were helping me in the computer or camera section must have added it to my bill to cover the cost of their new X Box controller. The those Best Buy employees: "I hope that controller brings you bad luck!"

I loved the weight of the controller, the feel, the buttons, the triggers... It was very sleek and worked fantastic with Windows 10. My PC became more console like in terms of ease of use ~ I just turned on the controller, hit the Xbox button and then got into Steam Big Picture on my TV. The only gripes I had with it was no rechargeable battery or USB C connection, but I can drop the latter considering this released in 2013. Where the issue lies is in quality control. The controller was out on my desk for about a day. I begin using it and notice the D-pad became quite mushy near the top. It wasn't clicky, and was registering a rapid press of inputs. It was very unusual... The following day I was trying to play, but the controller kept turning off. Now keep in mind the batteries that came with the unit weren't very old, quite fresh actually. The controller would turn off like it lost connection with the receiver. The longest I could get the controller to connect was for a minute at a time, then I had to finagle the adapter and turn the controller back on. I'm not sure where the problem lies here. I really wanted to love this controller, but I think my solution moving forward for PC gaming will be a PCI-e/USB Bluetooth receiver with a Dualshock 4. Maybe I'll give another Xbox controller a shot with that configuration. But this worried me enough to return the controller and question the quality long term.
