well i went for this cause why not it cheaper to get the charge kit with a controller together then not together. an you can still use regular batteries if you dont want to use the charge kit so thats always nice.

This remote went along with the Xbox one connect purchase I made on Thanksgiving day. And boy was I happy that it did. When my boys got everything set up and were looking at the remotes they told me how happy they were that I got them the extra remote. I have to laugh at them because they love to play video games and play video games on everything from a Wii to a PlayStation to the Xbox. They kept talking about the feel of the remote and how cool it was to handle it. So much so that they gave it to me and told me mom you need to feel this hold it isn't it neat. I am not quite sure what they're talking about as I don't play video games but they seem to know their stuff and were ecstatic about this remote.

Works well, however still struggle to understand why Xbox items are not compatible with one another. Consider other systems.

Battery last days not just hours, USB cable is very generous in length. This is a must have for any xbox one owner. I purchase this to allow me too save my Day One Edition controller from wear and tear.

Great controller, nice update, nothing drastic. If you are used to the xbox 360 controller you will not have a tough time adjusting to this new model. if feels lighter and looks more sophisticated.

The controller is awesome. It feels very natural in your hands. It would have a 5 star rating if not for the price.

Love being able to invite friends to play, without forcing them to bring their toys. Solid build. Really like that it comes with rechargeable battery. Nice touch. Give customer a little extra.

Solid additional controller that feels great in your hands with an adequately long recharge cable that once plugged in turns the controller into a precision wired controller until unplugged again. The charge cable has a charge indicator light on it to let you know if it's charging or done charging and solidly holds into the controllers micro-USB port and Xbox One's USB port. Additionally since the charge cable is essentially just a long Micro-USB cable, you can also charge your phone with it. (That is if your phone uses a Micro-USB connector. In example, most Android devices use it.) If used for this the indicator light on the cable will not turn on, but that is to be expected.

I bought the second controller with a new Xbox One. Tried other controllers but after a while they had a glitch. Sometimes you pay for what you get. Thes controllers haven't failed me yet.

If you want to save batteries, this is the controller for you. Works exactly like the standard controller except it has rechargeable batteries that can be recharged via a computer's USB port.
