If you want to make sure you can grab a controller and make sure it's charged - this is the best option. The bundled pricing is great as well!

So far, the play and charge kit is wonderful if you plan to use it, and I do for co-op games on Xbox One (yet to play one), and will plan to use it for my Windows 7 computer. Be sure to use the charge and play kit otherwise its charge dies occasionally.

I purchased this to have an extra controller and battery pack, and this combo saves you $10 over buying separate. Works great and meets my needs.

The XBOX ONE controller is much better than the XBOX 360. Better handling and better connection to our headphones with the adapter.

I love this controller. It's movements are fluid and it is has a great feel. A step up from the 360 and that's saying a lot.
