Both the wire and controller broke within a week of purchase. try to find a cell phone wire instead.

I am very glad Microsoft didn't change the successful controller formula they came up with many years ago. This is a fantastic controller. It feels like a tiny bit of a better fit in my hands than the 360 controller, and I like the new ridges on the thumb sticks. There were only two things I ever really thought they needed to change from the 360 controller, and they did both: Fix the terrible D-pad (it is much better now), and move the guide/dashboard button. I like how it is higher up on the controller now so you won't ever accidentally hit it when going for the start/back buttons. Speaking of which, I guess that's my only very minor complaint. They should have stuck with "Start" and "Back" as the names for those two center buttons. It sounds a lot less cool to read "Press the menu button to begin" on the Killer Instinct main screen, rather than the classic "Press Start". But, not a big deal. The rechargeable batteries seem a little smaller than the Xbox 360 ones, but worked great all through my Xbox One's launch night. The only very minor downside is it takes a few seconds longer to swap these batteries out than it did to swap out an Xbox 360 battery, but I like the tradeoff of having the Xbox One controller be slimmer and sleeker since there isn't a big battery jutting out the back. The charging cable is sufficiently long to play from my couch (8 feet away from my TV). Took an hour or so for the initial charging to finish from whatever capacity percentage these come from the factory. Don't bother with the third-party junk batteries. While the cable is just a basic micro USB and interchangeable, off-brand rechargeable batteries are rarely worth bothering with for the small difference in price.

An absolute must have....and it works great! The time between charging is lengthy, and you are also able to plug it in and use as it is charging!

I got wireless controller for my son and he loves it. The controller that can with his Xbox he hated it. Which I wasn't very happy with I paid a lot more money for him limited addition Xbox than I wanted. I was very happy that this controller is working out great.

The traditional Xbox remote goes through AA batteries almost twice a week if used constantly. This device eliminates the need to burn through tons of batteries (which increase the cost constantly) through a one time purchase. All you do is replace the batteries with the rechargeable one and plug in the cable to the Xbox as needed to power up the controller. I only bought one but need to get back to pick up another one for my second remote. I completely love this product and highly recommend it to everyone.

As a designer who has worked on Xbox projects before and as a gamer, this controller is exactly what I would have expected from Microsoft. Lighter, refined, and higher functionality while maintaining the usefulness of a rechargeable battery pack. I've already found it difficult to use my Xbox 360 controller without missing the updated feel of this controller.

This is a great controller for my son. He is even able to use the wireless controller while lying on the couch under a blanket, great reception.

This controller is nice, but the best part is the plug and play. So you don't need to keep eating AA batteries.

I have had this kit since November and I barely have to charge my controller. It holds a charge for a long time and has been worth the money and then some. This deal means the charger is only $15 as opposed to $25 if you buy it separately. If you are looking for a second controller, give this package a go.

Not much to say aside from being a very comfortable controller set up by Microsoft.

Works great as 2nd controller with my Xbox one. Now I can charge the controller and play for hrs. It works for 8hrs minimum for Forza once fully charged.

This controller is amazing, the design and look is so slick. The improved D-pad is better. I'm loving the rumble features especially when playing Forza Motorsport 5.

The controller is like any other controller. The battery is a typical rechargeable battery. For that alone i would give it 4 stars. It's nice not running through a bunch of AA batteries. The bad thing is the cord for charging. It's nice and long, and for charging, it more or less does it's job. For whatever reason, though, my headphones pick up buzzing when the cord is plugged in. My friends can also hear the buzzing. I'm not sure why that is, but it certainly doesn't help the package deal at all...I would recommend sticking with a regular controller and a different recharge system...

A must have. Rechargeable battery pack saves on batteries and time. Kids love it.
