Microsoft has continued to incentivize digital purchases -- in fact, the winter sale this past holiday season rivaled Steam's annual sales. I would have no hesitation picking up some of these cards for a later sale.

I got the card for my son as a gift. He loved it and could purchase anything he wanted in the Microsoft store. There are movies and games. You just enter the code and choose what you want to buy.

Perfect gift for our Grandson who is a BIG XBOX player. It was ideal as a stocking stuffer and was greatly appreciated and brought a big smile to his face.

Pro Tip. If you have a gift card/credit that will go to waste otherwise - use it on one of these. That way I'll never lose the value and eventually will use it for whatever I want on XBL (games, music, movies etc.)
