Usually, stores don't give you discounts against gift cards, but I guess Best Buy considers Microsoft Xbox gift cards an exception. The only downside with Microsoft Xbox gift cards is that you cannot use it for everything in the Microsoft store. I could only purchase Xbox One games, but not backward compatible Xbox games.
