With this in mind I know I receive 5% cash back through Best Buy so I decided to purchase this card then buy my game on the marketplace saving the cash back for future purchases.

Works as it is supposed to however, make sure recipient has their own Microsoft account so that funds are directed to appropriate person. It could be confusing if multiple player profiles play on a single console.

Great for Xbox live purchases I buy these cards at Best Buy to get reward points then use them for purchases of games through Xbox. It's a win-win. The games from Xbox live give more bonus features than buying the game at the store. So I get Best Buy reward points for the $$ spent then more bonuses with Xbox when I use those $$ on live purchases.
