I got this to purchase merchandise in the windows store. I like using pre-paid card instead of credit card. if ever my children secretly buying items in the windows store. I may only limit them to the balance amount.

Easy for daughter to use to all Microsoft Account needs. The various amounts also give flexibilty so she does not add them all at once. So I can still control how much she spends at a time.

It's a $25 card for credit within Microsoft to be used on Xbox, or any of their services. For those, like me, who prefer to buy a card and not give MS a CC number, this is what to buy. Pretty self explanatory.

I would recommend purchasing Microsoft points if you are going to buy any add-ons for your Xbox. I used mine to purchase the Map Packs for Call of Duty WWII and got Best Buys points for the purchase.
