As much as possible, I try to refrain from storing my credit card info online. So for the purpose of making game and DLC transactions through the Xbox, I absolutely love being able to buy these prepaid cards and load them onto my account as needed. Not only do I have peace of mind by having one less site where I cannot my credit info stolen, I won't be making too many impulse purchases since I know how much money is preloaded onto my account! Plus, these cards are always readily available online and in store, and I get rewards points for them, as well!

I got the card for a birthday gift for my son. We like using the card more that using my debit card.

It's a great little card to give a child so they can buy what they want on their x-box without you having to put your credit card information on the system.

Some people may be hesitant about keeping their credit card info online. If so just buy one if these Microsoft cards. You can get them for $5, $15, $25, $50 or $100. They're easy to use, you can purchase games, movies, music and plenty of other things from the Xbox store. Plus they make great gifts!!! I know everyone I get one for a present it's money well spent. Instead of trying to guess if they would like the game or gift your purchasing simply give them one of these cards and they're guaranteed to buy the one they want. You can't lose.

Easy gift, too bad new generation games are close to $70 now, the $50 used to get you a new game or a year of online service, I’m not sure it even gets you the online service anymore for $50 but it’s still a good gift for in game content or season passes.

I like using coded cards instead of a credit card for my Microsoft account. I can keep track of spending and put a throttle on my son's purchases. I do not prefer having my credit card on an account as "a blank check". Xbox has a strange method for entering the card number. I have to enter a purchase into the cart and only then see my account balance. If anyone knows the magic to finding the account balance a better way, I'd like to learn it.

This item was purchased to place a monetary amount in a specific XBOX account. The gift card performed as designed. Purchase of card was made in person at the local Best Buy. Upon arriving at the location of the XBOX console the card security key was then typed into the account using the controller. Funds were then activated in the account and spent rather frivolously on stuff.

Came in pretty quickly. It was rwady to add to the acount wothout any issues.

I bought this for my great nephew for his birthday
