The 3 month periods work well for me. The deal Best Buy had on these made it a no brainer for someone like me! The recent scare with Microsoft proposing doubling the price of the Game Pass made me happy I bought a couple of these. Microsoft reversing on doubling the price made me happy too!

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As a patient gamer (waiting often times years for games to either go on sale, have a game of the year edition drop, or for the DLC/season pass roadmap to be completed), and someone with both an Xbox console and a capable PC, Xbox's Games Pass Ultimate is one of, if not the best values in gaming I can think of as a lifelong one at that. 100s of games available on both platforms, pioneering efforts in crossplay and backwards compatible releases, Microsoft is hitting it out of the park with the value of XGPU.
