Great, even in the long term!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this controller. I was hesitant with the pricing but over a year in it is significantly better quality and held up to the abuse. Interchangeably features, crisp selection and a healthy weight makes it’s absolutely enjoyable to use. I use it for both PC and my Xbox.

Great remote with a few hiccups
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote is very good and works great for the most part except every once in a while the X button is a little iffy and when I'm holding x it says I have released the "x" button so I have to restart holding x. Other than that everything works as it should and it is worth it just for not needing batteries

Great controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] Great controller, very comfortable while playing games for hours. The paddles add a nice adaptability to any gamers experience, allows for a smoother gameplay with how you’re able to program the buttons, I will continue to use this controller for the foreseeable future!

Best one around.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this controller. The weight of it is great! Heavier than the normal controller. The button mapping is simple and very adjustable. Plus the charging port connecting to the case makes it easy to leave charging overnight while ensuring that it doesn’t fall. Battery life is also great.

A must even for a casual like me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, I didn't have high hopes due to the hype, but it absolutely lives up to it! Great weight in the hands, each button click and trigger pull feels solid, and the grips are fantastic feeling. GET IT WITH THE CHARGING CASE!

A must have for first person shooter games!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son was using a Razer Wolverine Ultra for his Xbox Series X and really like it, but one of the buttons started to stick so rather than break it trying to take it apart, we decided to purchase this Elite Series 2 Controller. I got lucky and found an open box controller in what appeared to be unused condition for nearly half off of the new controller price. Within a couple of days of using the controlled my Son had it all figured out and really likes it. If you have used the Razer controllers before the only major difference is the rear triggers on the Elite Series 2 are closer to the grips and are very sensitive to the press. Otherwise, it works well!

The best Xbox coontroller you can buy!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use exclusively this controller to play games as it has a great feel to it, the battery lasts a long time and having the options to add triggers to any game is great.

Well done XBOX!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is just totally awesome. Fully programmable and will take ur whole gaming experience to a new level for sure!! I must say, though the programming part of it is definitely at a higher level capable understanding. I would recommend watching the associated video of this product if it’s still offered through Best Buy website and not recommended for younger children.

||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super awesome controller, love the Dpad, controller is sturdy, grip is nice, triggers feel responsive, buttons click well. This controller doesn’t come with paddles so you’ll have to buy them on the side.

Working great so far!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First "upgraded" controller I have ever purchased and it has been working as expected so far. I really like the customization/remapping capabilities as well as the extra set of paddles. Still getting accustomed to the extra paddles, but I can attribute some improvements in my gameplay to this controller. Build quality is great and only time will tell how it holds up.

Just ok, but had to return 3 controllers
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is great and works...when you do not get a defective one. We had to go through 3 before getting a good one. Some of the issues are: The A, B, and X button would get stuck. You would press it in and it would stay in. The trigger locks come off. They still work, but the rubber piece came off. The right trigger you would press it in and it would stick randomly. Now the good: *Charging is great. Never a problem. One charge would usually last 40 hours, we've never tested this because we put it on the charger after each use. So, it will last for probably that long. *It feels comfortable in your hand, especially playing long gaming sessions. *It has a long range. You can sit a good distance away from Xbox without any connection issues. *Syncing is great. Never had a problem with that and it is very easy to do.

Awesome controller!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the controller. It does exactly what it says and does it better than the first generation Elite controller. Definitely get the replacement plan offered by Best Buy! If you game hard, you won’t regret it. Let’s face it, stick drift and button issues are a real thing no matter how much money you spend!

This could be the greatest Microsoft Controller
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So let's address the elite series 2 controller. It does what it should... when there's not issues. It feels great and heck even wanted me to change the thumb sticks. Never thought I'd do that & can see why the underside paddles are great to use. Those things are what make this controller THE CONTROLLER! (3 stars). HOWEVER there SHOULD BE A RECALL! brand new out of the box the A button has a dead zone, if pushed in a way it becomes obvious. I did the swab of a normal controller & noticed at any pushed angle of the button it stilled worked. Not with the series 2 controller though. If I didn't want to blow $200 I'd rip it apart to fix it myself. But it's almost as if the button doesn't line up with the logic board inside the controller when pushed at some angles. Which should never happen, should still work like the cheaper controllers. That's a major failure on Microsoft's part. If it was not for that everything else worked fine, no issues. The joy sticks are cool you can swab out sticks & tune the stiffness or loosen them with provided key. Switch d-pads, etc. You can read the specs. The other picky thing which I can see past is the top grips are a little too much, I personally started getting sweaty palms after one round in a shooter and then the controller almost has this slight sticky feel when warm from just holding it. But it quickly goes away if you air it out between rounds. Wasn't enough to not keep the controller more so than the A button not working. Would love to give this a 5 stars for the product. if it had no known issues, this would be the greatest controller. @ $180 Microsoft your products shouldn't have issues right out from the box. I gave this 3 because it is worth tuning and resolving the small issues for an amazing product that it could be. Now I'm keeping mine, unless it's a total lost after services fail to resolve the issues for me. I've got until May 15th or 18th (got it mailed). Bought this on the 15th from Best Buy, can return & still get the money back. We're talking a defect on Microsoft's behalf not Best Buy. I've got options in services via geek squad or Microsoft's 90 day warranty. Geek squad protection is worth getting on this. Because let's say there wasn't issues and after a year the button and stick got worn out from use. Geek squad will fix or replace the controller. so $40 to keep that $180 feel or in this mess save from owning another $180. GET the 2 year coverage. I normally don't but I knew about the issues other people where having & planned for it. Other than that Best Buy was a total win this time. During this COVID-19 mess they still got my package in the two day window. Great job BB & postal services. I waited until getting my product in the mail before getting the geek squad protection. Only had to make a simple phone call and give my order # and boom the protection was added on, no hassle. Go to any Best Buy for repairs or services. Great! Will be needing it, as it looks. The employees I talked to via the phone or live chat on site. Informative and helpful & knew about the bugs on the controllers, lol must be getting returns on them. I'd give Best buy a solid 5 stars in services. Which impressed me normally it's about eh, they tried. Conclusion: The controller isn't a magical device that makes you a greater gamer but is a NICE controller to own... when it's working that is. That's what's so annoying you want it to be the greatest controller which hopefully Microsoft does too. If you are wanting to buy this WAIT. Allow time for Microsoft to hopefully fix these problems before you buy one and get stuck seeking help to have it fixed yourself. If you manage to get one now, there is limited stock. Get the 2 year coverage, so your not out $200 or more in service repairs & reshipping costs. Hopefully Microsoft comes through and replacement controllers come out. Other than that return them don't waste the money. Like I said I'm only giving it until my return window period.

Feels way better than normal controller
||Posted . ||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the controller but certain aspects don’t last long. ||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works very well and has very good build quality. The paddles on the back make it very easy to keep you fingers on the joystick while using abxy. VERY pricy though. This is a premium priced product that really is not needed for most people.
