I would of thought since this was a huge problem with the first one they might have just went with buttons instead of bumpers. I know i hit them pretty hard sometimes but a almost $200 controller and V2 shouldn't have this problem.

Best pile of crap on the market

The bumpers will stop working after a year. This is a known issue. Some people with new controllers have had issues with the A button sticking. If you want a scuff type controller this is the one to get. But beware and get the geek squad warranty. It will eventually break

Now I do not care about color, but the red was cheaper than the white or blue, so that is what I purchased. I already had a Elite Series 2 controller that has some pretty severe stick drift in the right thumbstick, so I was able to get this and just use all of the accessories from that controller with it.

While the value provided was exceptional, there were a myriad of growing pains to address as Microsoft went premium. After nearly 5 years of use, and several warranty events, it was time to let them go. I'm glad to say, Microsoft's followup appears to have addressed long-term concerns surrounding the joysticks and grips breaking down. Now if only they hadn't sealed the battery inside!
