Absolutely love my Elite controller. Heavier weight, textured rear grip, customizable binds, home button color, joy stick resistance, customizable trigger settings, & more. My ONLY issue is the stupid bumpers are still cheaply made. BUY THE WARRANTY!!

This should be the standard for all controllers to achieve. The amount of tweaking and customizing is insane, and only goes to show how much care Microsoft put into this controller. Travel case, charging dock, swappable d-pads/control sticks, textured grips, cables, tension tool, programmable profiles, trigger stops, paddles, I mean, I don't know what else they could do to make this thing even better. My hat goes off to you, Bravo!

This controller is heavier than the regular Xbox controller. You can change out thumb sticks, d-pad and paddles. The thumb sticks have adjustable tension and it allows you to save four presets including the default to the controller (double the first elite controller). The triggers have three settings which are good for those needing to setup for faster shooting in games. This is a durable alternative to the original controller and totally worth the investment for serious gamers.

Its a great feeling controller that does what a pro should be able to do. Last 40 hours with a single charge, can be customized on the xbox and saves the data. Only draw back is you need to buy the attachments so plan for a extra 50 down the road.

[Employee of bestbuy] I originally bought this controller on a whim (I had a rewards certificate that was going to expire). I was originally a Playstation controller person stretching back to my PS2 as a kid, but I'm in love with the elite. The extra weight of the controller was a bit weird at first but now other controllers seem like a cheap toy in comparison. This is high quality and can take a beating as it travels with me. One word of caution: Use the included case if you're traveling with it. Because the D-pad and analog sticks are hot-swappable that means they're also removable. The analog sticks especially can and WILL fall off if you just throw this in a backpack or something. It comes with a really nice case, so just use that. I don't like the paddle buttons in the back but that's okay because you can take them off. Very happy with this purchase and I'll get another one or an Elite 3 when the time comes to replace it.

Battery life is great! And the most comfortable controller I own. Love that you can change the sensitivity on the sticks and triggers. Haven’t had any drift issues in the year and many hours I’ve been using it.

The controller is very comfortable and easily costumizable. Also instead of the constant need to change out the batteries this controller contains a built in battery pack you just need to charge and should last up to 1 whole day or even 2 depending on how much you game.

Purchased to use with my pc for cod and other games. For me it was nice but a rough adjustment from ps5 controller. If you’re used to Xbox or never used controller then I’d think it’d be fine but after being away from Xbox for so many years and having adjusted to ps5 then coming back to Xbox it was a bit much. I love how light it is compared to the ps5 version of pro controller.

Battery lasts days, everything is as promised and better. Buttons feel great, grip is amazing doesn’t feel and the controller doesn’t feel broken or cheap. You’ll know you’re holding an amazing piece of technology. Only problem is that I have had it for half a year and the bumpers are already broken, would be a huge issue but I purchased the warranty. Everyone else beware of your controller breaking easily.

Awesome, sleek controller. Has a nice weight to it. The buttons on the back are really convenient for fast-paced gameplay and has an ergonomic design. Love that it is rechargeable, I can go about a week between charges. My only issue is that the 'A' button has already started acting up, only about a month into my use.

I think Microsoft went above and beyond with this controller. It’s super comfortable to hold, it’s a good weight and the mapping is immaculate. I love the paddles and the interchangeable joysticks. If you want to invest money into another controller, make it this one.

This is my 5th Elite controller. They're very good for competitive players, but can easily use them for casual laid back gaming. Has plenty of customizations and sure is pretty to look at. I would recommend getting the Geeksquad Protection though, as the controllers tend to drift after a year of use.

I had and still use the original Elite controller (that one is now used on my desktop). This controller lives up to the reputation of the original and improves it. It's lighter yet more substantial when you are holding it. It has excellent battery life, and the feel of all the keys are mostly solid. I love the new size of the back paddles. Before I was always hitting them when I sat the controller down (which is a pretty big deal when watching Netflix or OneGuide video content). This one, I haven't registered a key press at all when I sit the controller down. Also, I love the charging stand. I keep the stand in my case and just charge when I'm not using it for a day or so. The case is a well designed accessory. +5 stars What I don't like, the built in batteries. I fear that eventually burn in memory will present as an issues, and I won't be able to replace the batteries -- Minus .5 stars. I also think this controller is priced too high -- Minus .5 stars. Other thoughts -- some have said the build quality is still an issue, particularly from units bought from BestBuy. I can say, I haven't had a single issue with build quality.

While the controller is expensive, the build quality and customization makes it well worth it. Once you use this controller, all other controllers will feel like cheap pieces of plastic. They’ve finally fixed the bumper issue that’s plagued Xbox one controllers from the beginning. The amount of customization you have is incredible. You can assign a button to be a shift toggle that turns other buttons to become other buttons. You adjust your triggers to 3 different settings allowing you to pull the trigger faster since they’ll be less travel. You can even adjust the thumbstick tension. On top of all that it comes with changeable D-Pad, analog sticks, and paddles. All this is packed into a nice case that allows you to charge the controller. The cradle can be removed if you so choose and you can change the controller while playing by plugging the USB-C straight into the controller. Some people won’t like the fact that you can’t change the batteries but I’ve been getting easily 40-60 hours of battery life per charge. And on a final note, you can assign button profiles to the controller and can easily swap between 3 of them this time around instead of 2. There’s even a default setting so there’s technically 4 hot-swappable profiles. Overall I highly recommend this controller to anyone who enjoys gaming. I honestly think It’ll enhance everyone’s experience, even if there’s a slight learning curve for the paddles. I’d also recommend the Best Buy warranty. The standard warranty is only 90 days and if you’re gonna be spending $180 on a controller I’d spend the extra $20-$30 for the 2 year protection plan. While I haven’t had any trouble with it yet, I’ve seen some people online have problems with theirs.
