Not horrible but buy new rather than used.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can’t give to much detail as I only had the controller for a week but I ordered an open box excellent condition, but was sent a controller in “good” condition. The b button did not work and the key to tighten and loosen the thumb sticks was not included and they were tightened to the point that they were stiff. I ended up returning it because I spent $100 on a controller that was unusable and not what I’d ordered.

Good controller but the bumpers give out
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is great however the bumpers eventually give out and stop working. I am not a rager and I never throw or bang my controllers. However, my bumpers still have given out where it doesn’t function properly to where I had to use the paddles instead for it. The paddles do not come with the controller so I ordered an extra set from Amazon.

Feels much better than Standard controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS * The overall feel is much better than the standard controllers * the ABXY paddles are great to use as long a you get used to actually using them. The only time I don't use them is when I have to have a finger on a button to tap fast several times in a row since thumb speed is much faster than trying to press the paddle button with middle or ring finger. In most scenarios is gives you the ability to keeps your thumbs both on the thumb-sticks while being able to press ABXY. * replaceable thumb-stick grips is nice. CONS * The thumb-sticks wear out after a while and then start to have drift issues or inaccurate movement. This can be fixed by refurbishing the controller to have new thumb-stick part on the internals but that either needs money or skills to do. * my first 2 elite controllers lasted about 2 years each before I started having thumb stick issues. Both issues were on the left stick used for movement. Will be curious to see if this one is any different. * expensive

Get some paddles
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think personally for me the only way to play any console games is on a controller like this, whether you play Xbox or PlayStation paddles have been such a game changer. As for this specific controller it has served me well and I think it is a solid choice without being too pricey.

Xbox elite
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this controller and for me it was totally worth the extra money. (vs the standard xbox controller.) Before, I was going through xbox controllers every 9 months or so. (I replace them once a button starts to fail) For me, this controller has lasted over 2.5 years. I did start to get cosmetic damages (glued-on grips were starting to come apart) and battery charging problems started about 18 to 20 months in- but before I would be on my 3rd or 4th controller in that same time frame! button re-mapping is awesome! and the bottom triggers changed the way I play (but it did take some time to get used to) I used to have a problem with hitting the thumb stick buttons on accident and moving the shoulder buttons to the bottom made things faster and easier. The controller is pretty much done now, but its still doing its job (it needs to be tethered for power and the grips need to be replaced) I hope it holds out till version 2 comes out.

I LOVE THIS CONTROLLER!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE this controller! The controller has some weight to it, which I like. The paddles and d-pad are made of metal and very sturdy. The stem of the sticks are also metal. The paddles, sticks, and d-pad are easy to switch out, no tools needed. Programming controller is super easy using the app on the Xbox or computer. I have smaller hands and the position of the paddles that come with the controller aren't bad. I have switched mine out to use the scuff ones and the difference is marginal between the two. If you need to feel the click of the paddles (I personally don't care about that clicky feel) then switching to the scuff ones is for you. I am pretty rough on my controllers and so far so good. If you are in the market for a premium controller then this one is a great option. I wouldn't pay any mind to the bad reviews they probably just had a bad one, which happens in manufacturing. I had no issues connecting it to my new Series X and it works flawlessly. Get this controller you won't be sorry

Xbox Elite Gaming Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second elite controller I’ve bought. My first one I purchased a long time ago and it finally gave out. Instead of trying something else I bought another one because in my opinion there is no better controller. You won’t regret this purchase.

Stick drift
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is amazing until it starts having issues. I've had mine for a month and its got stick drift in the right analog. The RB button will register twice when pressed once, sticking buttons, its sad. I love this controller but it would get 5 stars if it was built with better quality internally.

Elite says it all
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."Professional" reviews are normally hit or miss and here lately complete garbage. Wanted one of these for a while, so I got one. I was one that could only play 1st person shooters with keyboard and mouse. Tried many times with the Xbox wireless controller, but no way. After setting up the Elite with the windows app and a little practice, I am now playing 1st person shooters almost as good as a keyboard and mouse with the convenience of a controller. Its just more fun. The customization in the app is very nice. Stick curve and sensitivity along with full button customization. There is also recalibration. The controller feels premium and comfortable, I use all four paddles and dont need to touch the keyboard for normal play controls. After just a few days I tried the older wireless controller again and couldnt put it away fast enough. If you are on the fence about it, dont be! The additional sticks are a must. Magnetic charger is awesome.

A decent controller!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Microsoft Elite Series 2 wireless controller to play some games on my PC and Xbox. It's a pretty good controller, but not perfect. The design is sleek and comfortable, and the buttons are responsive and customizable. The battery life is also impressive, lasting for hours on a single charge. However, I have some issues with the durability and the price. The controller feels a bit fragile, and I'm worried it might break easily. The price is also quite high, especially compared to other controllers on the market. Overall, I think it's a decent controller for gaming, but not worth the hype.

Overpriced, Feels Cheap.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.High price while not including the rear buttons. The grip is nice and the battery life is excellent. The ABXY buttons are loud and feel cheaper than even my cheap back up controller. The D-pad also feels cheap and you can hear the low quality spring inside it. The vibration works well. Hopefully lasts longer than the controller included with the console, which started drifting after about 100 hours of use. In conclusion, way overpriced for this level of quality.

Best controller out there.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great controllers. The battery life is awesome, i do get about 40hrs of play time if not a little more. I like the customization of the controller, fully mapping buttons yo my preference and has also definitely made my gaming experience much better. The only con to this controller is the price but they last do much longer. I currently have 3 of them, 1 for each of my consoles and my oldest one is around 5-6 years old and still no issues. I woulf definitely recommend even if have to save up a little longer for it.

Game-Changer Controller for Apex Legends!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just grabbed the Microsoft Elite Series 2 controller and it’s been amazing for my Apex Legends sessions! The build is super solid, and it feels premium in my hands. What really stands out are the paddles at the back. They make a huge difference in fast-paced games like Apex. I can jump, reload, and do all sorts of moves without taking my thumbs off the sticks. It’s been a game-changer for sure, making everything more responsive and upping my game. The battery life is great too, lasting through even the longest gaming marathons. If you’re big into games like Apex, this controller is a must-have!
