If you are a competitive gamer, this controller will not last for a year. Bumpers fail, drift, and sometimes the paddles don’t work. Causal gamers who barely play will love this controller.

Love the customizability. Definitely helped increase my abilities on FPS, which is what I mainly play.

It's cool that this controller lets you optimize the settings for your own personal preference, but good Lord I've never experienced stick drift this much in my entire life.

It’s a great controller. You can use for any game not just FPS.

Let’s be fair, the features are phenomenal, everything with it is an upgrade.....ACCEPT for the thumb sticks.... My thumb sticks had input problems after a few months. I’m talking if I moved the stick all the way over, it responded with the SLIGHTEST movement in that direction. A controller at this price should not accumulate wear and tear so easily. MY SERIES 1 controller STILL WORKS, so my guess is it had something to do with the incorporation of TENSION adjustment. Goes to show you why there’s a supply problem, everyone is returning them and getting a second one and then returning it and getting a 3rd and so on. If you got the money, buy 2 if you insist on having the extra features, or find a different option that will last a year (typically I find controllers last a year or so with heavy play) I’m gunna try the FUSION pro and I’ll post a review there after a while.

I enjoyed the controller when it worked. But the joy went away when the controller quickly degraded into a hot mess when a nasty dead zone and sticking issue showed up on the left thumb stick. Made games literally unplayable as you couldn’t reliably do the basic necessity of controlling your character/aim. The best part of this was that it happened just outside of the 90 day manufacturer warranty and would cost $100 to send away to Microsoft be repaired or replaced with a refurb. I expected longevity from a $180 controller, similar to my original elite controller I’m still using after buying close to launch. Save your money, or buy an extended warranty and be prepared to send the controller away.

Ridiculous input lag on lettered buttons. Overall good build quality charging case is fantastic back paddles are good quality and easy to reach. Dont use this controller for any games related to From Software but feels good for FPS games paddles work and feel great.

I bought this controller because it was open box and in excellent condition. Had it a few weeks. Day 1 I had to clean the joysticks off because they had something on them when I opened it up. Played with it one week and had to clean the x button with isopropyl alcohol as it started sticking when I was about to play tomb raider. Was buying it this way cheaper, yes, was the controller in excellent condition when I bought it? No. I was probably better off buying a brand new one.

Stick drift terrible need better mechanics stick drift

This remote offers great competitive play, as a halo guardians player this remote has granted me the edge over players that don’t own one. However after a month of use it started drifting and within days of drift it became unplayable now I have to wait for weeks without a remote and unable to play during this strictly at home pandemic going on. I don’t recommend the geek squad warranty I recommend sending to manufacturers as I have already payed 120$ within last 3 months just on returning and repurchasing warranty. Walmart offers 16$ for 2 year protection rather than 60$ of Best Buy. Best Buy geek squad warranty will void once item is returned and you will need to purchase a new one please be aware of this.

It’s a great controller but it should definitely last longer.
