It's nice that Microsoft finally acknowledged that it was a problem and extended the warranty but it would be better if they would fix the issue. On my second controller in 4 months so we'll see how it holds up. A little on the pricey side when considering the quality issues they have been having.

Best purchase ever. I was running through cheap controllers every 3 months at 60 dollars a piece

What’s not great is having to go to 3 different best buys just so that they can say oh the one we have is a refurbished one and looks like a dog chewed it all up. If I’m paying for a warranty I expect my closest Best Buy to have the replacement not one that’s an HOUR COMMUTE from my house!!! Pathetic!

Much better fit to the hand vs the original control from an Xbox one. Best Buy did an amazing job at answering all of my questions did so with a positive attitude and huge smile. Kudos to Microsoft for the remote design and Best Buy for thir amazing service!

On that same note the quality is some what lacking as the rest of the elites the rb and lb are always an issue . No stick drift yet after a year …yet

All have been purchased from Best Buy. I always purchase the extended warranty because they always seem to develop hardware issues. The controller itself has an excellent feel and performs well. Unfortunately for me, they seem to have a fully functional life of about one year before needing replacement. Its very disappointing for a high quality item like this to have continuing issues!

The battery life lasts for a long time, the grips, triggers and everything else just feels very comfortable in your hands. I definitely recommend putting the geek squad warranty just in case you have an accident OR if SOMETHING else happens....
