Over time you WILL experience stick drift on either or both sticks. You also may experience your bumper buttons double activating when pressed once. It’s random, but when it happens (like switching weapons in fortnite) it’s frustrating. I think I have my shotgun out and I start healing in front of the enemy. Every since elite 1 and 2 controller I’ve had has had problems. Could take weeks, could take months, but it happens. Thank god for geek squad. They have had my back every time. <3

The battery life on the contained battery lasts longer than other plug and play options. The extra hair trigger makes a big difference too. I love it!!

Horrible quality

Unfortunately, Microsoft really dropped the ball with overall quality on this generation. I’ve had to replace the controller under warranty twice already, and the latest replacement that I received will also be going back. Stick drift, sticky buttons, unresponsive buttons, shell separating, you name it. Cannot recommend this at all.

I really enjoy using this controller until I realized that the ABXY buttons need to be fully bottomed out to work. When playing a game like Rocket League you can find yourself needed to press a button twice to get it to work, but in a fast game like that it is already too late.

The top buttons and triggers are a very nice metallic shade of red. If you don't like the new d-pad, you can switch it out cheaply and easily with traditional cross-type ones since the d-pad and analog joysticks are magnetically attached.

Map paddles on bottom to any other button or remove them. Feels solid/dense, unlike classic controller that feels hollow/weighless. Worth the money.
