I had the 1st gen and now the 2nd gen and it is better by far. I do not like that the batteries are built-in the controller but besides that the controller itself feels a lot better than the 1st gen.

The scuff’s wear out too fast(I play a lot). For the price it’s best controller for competitive gaming.

Give you an advantage playing since you are able to adjust any of your buttons & is also PC Friendly !

No need to remove your fingers to hit the other buttons since you can assign them to the levers in the bottom. Little learning curve.

It started to break down on me a month in to using it, where it would not turn on unless I connected the controller to a power source, even after charging. For the price, issues like this should not be happening at all $180 plus protections plan. The sad part is that without the issues, this would of been the best controller for x box hands down. In fact, I returned it and miss it. I hope Microsoft comes out with the Elite 3 with better software/hardware because I would purchase them in a heart beat if improvements are made.

I like how you can tighten the sticks and it is still a comfortable grip. The only thing is the grip is slicker then the original so it slides a little more.
