The controller itself is amazing. Lots of customizable options. Has a rechargable battery via USB C so that's a plus. My only issue is that it's still a typical Microsoft controller. After 3 months of light usage, both analog sticks were drifting. I had to put a bit of force into the left analog stick in order to register. I suggest getting the best buy replacement plan for this controller.

Is this is some kind of sick joke? I bought last summer and it seemed to be fine then both bumpers stopped working. So I sent it into Microsoft for service under warranty. They sent me back a new controller which when I unpackaged had a completely different issue with the left thumbstick. How can they service the and send back a replacement only to have even more frustrating problems on the first day I opened it. This doesn't belong on the shelf it's not worth half what I paid.

This controller is great when it works but I've had 2 so far. 1st the bumper stopped working after a year. Second one the grip is pealing off. For the price these things should not be happening. Most expensive and most trash controller I have ever used. I have the base xbox controller and it still works 5 years later, outlasted both of these. Never again.

Definitely worth the money if you can get it on sale.

This elite controller has just the right amount to sensitivity in the buttons. It allows for a quick response so nothing is missed.

This is possibly the best feeling controller to hold and use, however the durability of these controllers is the worst ive seen. Standard Xbox One controllers tend to last me about 1 year. This controller lasted me around 500 hours before being completely useless with stick drift. That ended up being around 1 year. However the other elites I owned averaged 3-6 months before breaking. That includes one other elite version 2. The quality on these controllers is very low. The Razer Wolverine may be a better secondary option for now. Though many modern controllers have stick drift issues. The controller should not be 200 bucks without figuring a work around or modular option to replace the sticks when they start drifting. I end up burning through the replacement warranties and its not worth it.

This ia a fast moving controller. Perfect for the heavy gamer.

Unfortunately I got the controller that is part of the well known hardware issue with unresponsive buttons. Specially A button for me. Wonder when Microsoft will issue a recall of all the affected controllers. Without those issues this controller was awesome.
