    Works well, just over priced

I am not knocking the controller because I am an ages long PS fanboy. I use this for my gaming PC setup as many steam games tend to be Xbox setup in controller formatting and it is just easier. This is a comfortable unit with a good battery life. No lag in responses... and I love the color. However, I think almost $90 is a high price for a controller... The cost is my only complaint.

Good when brand new, stick drift happens on either left or right thumb stick after a few months of use. BestBuy makes it easy to exchange broken defective items with their pro plan without any hassle.

The price is decent with this controller but when you look at other competitor controllers with paddles like Scuf which go for (200+) the price is fair. Its a huge improvement from the first elite controller. Better thumb stick options now with higher tension and Xbox 360 size thumb sticks. Battery life on this controller is amazing I can play for days without charging. Paddles on the back take more force to engage which feels a lot better while using. Only downside and this is nitpicking is that the tension needs to be a little higher on the 3rd setting to replicate the perfect 360 controller. Also the 360 thumb sticks don't have enough grip. But I highly recommend also buy the 2 year warranty. So that if you receive wear and tear or any other issues you can replace it.

Excellent controller but some issues on PC

The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 feels a lot better than the included controller in the Series X/S and seems more like a true "next gen" controller. I primarily use the Xbox Elite 2 for PC gaming. On Steam when connecting via Bluetooth the controller has worked flawlessly except with Batman: Arkham Knight which required telling the game it was a 360 controller with custom mappings. Surprisingly with Xbox PC game pass I ran into many more issues when connecting via Bluetooth, I found connecting via the included USB-C cable works better for game pass games, otherwise on BT I run into issues where some of the buttons aren't mapped properly and even when manually mapping them they don't respond correctly or at all. Being Xbox's flagship controller, I would think it would run seamlessly on Xbox game pass. The experience may be better on consoles but this controller is billed as an Xbox/PC controller and should work well on both. Other than those issues, which largely are corrected by connecting via USB-C, I like the controller quite a bit. The rumble feature feels much more natural than the included Xbox Series X controllers, which felt to me like technology from 10+ years ago with very basic and clunky vibration feedback, lightweight and a need for AA batteries, especially when compared with the all mighty PS DualSense. The Elite 2 controller has a nice weight to it, the thumb sticks feel solid, snappy and respond nicely. I haven't used the paddles much but I like that they are included and could see them being useful for many games. The grips feel good as well and make the controller sit securely in your hands during gaming sessions. The controller also feels more balanced than the X/S. This controller comes with a quality, corded 9' USB to USB-C cable as well as a rugged case that doubles as a charging station. Within the case it also includes a tool to adjust the thumb sticks as well as an alternate D-pad. Overall this is a large improvement over the included X/S controllers, and some of its PC compatibility issues which are a bit frustrating can largely be overcome by tethering with USB-C.

Nice controller. Heavier than the default controllers. Great battery life. Had trouble with my rb button. Return was more difficult than expected. Even as a best buy total plus member, i could only return through microsoft. They did fix and send back though. Seems to be fine so far.

Nice remote works well with no issues. I preferred the black edition, but settled for this one; I just didn't see the need for so much more money just to receive an all-black edition.

Had to get another one because my Puppy chewed up my first one. By far one of there best controllers had to get it again I love the original controller but after using this for so long the original just didn't feel the same. I wish they would have included this with there consoles. Love the color as well

Got on sale and open box so decent deal, bumper went out and had the controller replaced under warranty with a new one about a year in, new one works great so far, not sure if it’s worth the extra money compared to the original pro but does a great job regardless

After finally acquiring a Series X, I was content to use the standard Xbox wireless controllers. I even invested in a PowerA Fusion controller that was on clearance for less than $50. But when this came available for $139 during the 15 days of Gaming promotion I felt compelled to give it a try. I can't recall a better deal being made. Even at full MSRP it is a great value. The design, the weight and feel. The quality of materials used plus the functionality and countless configurations are unmatched. Why buy anything but the best? I think it is a highly durable product that will give you the greatest satisfaction. I have zero regrets.

This is a good premium feeling controller with some good weight to it and the functionality of the adjustments you can make is nice. The only downside is that for this model the paddles in the back and the different sized thumb sticks are not included compared to the higher priced model that come with those accessories. I do love the color options that are available in this version.

Excellent controller... But "A" button issues

The best controller on the market for Xbox or PC. Build quality is great, has good weight to it, love the lack of cables and shiny appearance. But... How does a controller this expensive have so many issues with the buttons? Not even a week after buying this for my Jedi:Survivor play through on PC, it registers the "A" button about 9/10 times. Now, that sounds like a nitpick, but consider making a jump in a platformer ONLY 9/10 times by no fault of your own, after paying so much for a controller. You either need to press down HARD or press down perfectly nadir for it to register every time. Totally unacceptable for a controller of this price point. Why is it still "good"? Everything else is beyond wonderful, except the "A" button which many other users have reported issues with. Had it RMA'd and done custom fixes, nothing works. MS just had a poor "A" design I guess. Get it if you have money to spend and hope for the best. Or like using the paddles which work very nicely. Otherwise, I recommend the standard version. I have one too and has zero issues.

Xbox elite controller definitely is the step up every xbox gamer should be given the gift of, from being super comfortable to ultimate customization on textures to the controls, even the 4-paddle trigger backing to the controller is next level
