Not worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A button sticks..second controller same problem. It’s annoying to pay this much for a controller that has issues out of the box.

Trash stick towers. Buy the warranty.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have went through three of these controllers, same problems with all three. Joystick wander, sometimes they even work loose and spin in a circle causing slippage. All other aspects are premium, and so is the cost. Not what you expect from a flagship controller.

Bad Quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite series 1 is my favorite controller of all time. The series 2 is not....yet. MINOR Gripes: -only comes with 1 tall thumbstick. -all the sensitivity curves on my presets were changed when switching to the v2 -they changed the button mapping process & it is now clumsy MAJOR Gripes: -the paddles are too tiny -the dpad covers slide back & forth over the dpad resulting in a feeling of double clicks -all the directional buttons (dpad, thumbsticks, L,R) will randomly register as multiple presses when you simply press them once. I exchanged the controller & the replacement had the same issue. This issue made the controller useless because it would happen randomly. Maybe with future firmware upgrades or better quality control this controller could be good but I returned mine & am happily ising my elite v1.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s ok but for the price it shouldn’t have any problems for about a year, it’s only been a couple months and not the charging port needs to be replaced!!! Was good while it lasted
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really loved this controller at first but after a few months it’s been having connection issues and the RB is now registering a “double tap”. Controller is up to date but still randomly disconnects mid game.

Great, but eventual stick drift
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m on my 10th or so Xbox elite series 2 controller. They are great until they are not, which is why I have had so many. They usually start getting stick drift around 6-10 months in with normal use (avg 3-5 hour gaming sessions about 3-4 times a week). I always get the Best Buy protection and just come swap for a new one after it starts drifting, and just buy a new plan for the replacement knowing it’s going to happen to that one too. Wish they would upgrade these to TMR sticks to eliminate the drifting issues and this would be hands down the best controller to game on.

Controller drift
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the first series elite and it’s joystick started drifting to the point it was unusable. The Elite 2 I just bought and had for maybe 2 months is starting to drift now as well. Unacceptable for a “premium” controller

Open box is bad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is not about the controller but a review about purchasing an open box item. The item that i got stinks so bad so i decided to return the item. When i got to the store, one associate inspected the item and told me that the serial numbers do not match on the order. I mean its not my fault that they made a mistake on this. Luckily one of the supervisor accepted the return. This was a very bad experience and i will surely think twice before i buy another open box item.

"Premium" controller with cheap parts
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was super excited to try this controller given the fact that I had only ever used a standard xbox controller. In the last year I have gone through a total of four controllers (thank god for geek squad replacement plan). On average each controller only lasted me 3-4 months, after that I begun to experience "drift" and button malfunction. After over a year I felt I had gave the Elite Series 2 a fair shot and can confidentially say they were a let down. I resorted back to the traditional xbox controller which I have had zero issues with after 6+ months.
