Xbox elite series 2
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love the upgrades that this controller has verses the older series 1 elite controller. The battery life is amazing, and it seems to have great durability. The only issue is that the corners of the rubber grips start to peel slightly after 2-3 months of heavy use.

built like a tank
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know I am not making full use of all of the customization features, but here is what I do like so far: • Ergonomics is excellent • Textured hand-feel is great • Weight and balance is the best so far • Very responsive • Love that you can customize the analog grips to fit your hands • Rechargeable built-in The one thing I wish it had: switchable binding between multiple devices. I have an xbox one, and xbox one x, and two nice windows computers. I wish there was a button that let me switch between controlling those different devices without reconnecting it to the device each time.

Great but pricey
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, its a great controller but it’s pricey. I love the customization options and the battery life, and I don’t regret the purchase at all. It’s probably closer to worth the 139.99 price I’m seeing it discounted to now If you’re strapped for cash, theres nothing wrong with the regular Xbox controller. If you can afford it but are unsure, it might be worth considering the cost of a battery or two for the regular, and figure out how much all the other extras are worth to you.

Best controller minus one correctable defect.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So as far as paddled "pro" controllers go this undoubtedly the best you can get with 3 different profile, trigger stop, and stick resistances options along customizable aim curves this provides the best possible customization that a controller has ever offered. Everything has it buts and in this case, it comes in the form of slight drifts off of the slightest movements but is easily corrected with raising deadzones. If you would like to check out some gameplay of it check out ChasTheChad on youtube or twitch.

Poor quality materials, will not last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this controller for 3 years give or take. I have never thrown or dropped this controller. I have always kept it in its case, on my desk. It has never traveled or been taken anywhere. It has never had a single drop of liquids touch it. I had to have it replaced twice due to manufacturer defects. I have babied this thing, because I have cancer and cannot work, I cannot afford the astronomical price to replace it. But after hearing the rattle of something small moving around inside the controller for a few weeks, I decided to open it up today. What I found should be an absolute embarrassment for Microsoft. Upon further inspection, it became obvious to me that the plastic that is used to make this controller was deteriorating on its own. The grips were peeling off, several chunks of thin flimsy plastic had somehow broken off on their own on the interior of the controller. Again, this controller has never, not once, absorbed any kind of shock. There has not been a single event or instance that could have caused even a single piece of the controller to break. Yet somehow, there are several broken off pieces and parts. The only conclusion I can come to is that Microsoft uses extremely cheap materials to make them. And for a $200 controller, that is shameful. And with the warranty only being a year, its pretty clear that Microsoft is 100% aware that this controller will not last. And now here I am, clearly a fool for trusting Microsoft to make a quality, top of the line controller. What a huge letdown. When it works correctly, I loved it. But between stick drift and constant bumper issues, along with the very cheap materials used, I cannot recommend this in good conscience. I have a 3rd party Xbox One controller that has seen at least double the use, been dropped, thrown, tossed, had soda, water, coffee, etc. spilled on it (it is used by my kids), and is also 2 years older, that works flawlessly still to this day and cost 1/5 of the price. I feel a bit scammed. This controller has so much potential, if only Microsoft put some care and quality craftmanship into the manufacturing process. Instead, they are trying to fool us into having to buy a new one every year or 2.

Simply the best
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second one. The first was great for about 9 months but then I developed stick drift even though I keep it in the case and my hands are always clean. The reason I bought another is because I tried to use a stock controller but I'm used to the elite. No other controller feels as solid or as high quality as this one. I've tried the Scuf and if you hold this one, you can feel the difference. I'll not go to another brand for as long as I play

Best controller I've ever used!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always preferred the Xbox controller over the Playstation controller, especially because I play a lot of FPS games, but in general it feels better to me. Elite version is heavier, has rubberized grip, and the build of the controller feels premium (as it should for the cost). With all the accessories and adjustments (various thumb sticks, d-pads, paddles, and adjustable triggers), you can make the controller as custom, as needed. It has been my best controller ever purchased and worth the amount I paid. Get that Geek Squad protection, just in case! ;) Buy it and have fun!

Classic
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can’t go wrong with a classic. I’ve tried other controllers over the years that are cheaper and supposedly higher quality. I’ve tried off brand, standard on brand, wired, wireless. I always come back to this.

Not worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So so controller. The “grip” feels slick and is already peeling with moderate use. The stick clicks feel unresponsive sometimes and feels off in hands compared to standard controller. I am already experiencing some slight stick drift too and would not recommend buy this to anyone.

Dont sell ur self by picking a diffrent controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.best xbox contoller for competitve gamers. has every single bit of customization u would need from the joy stick tension to the input control sensitivty. the desing of the controller makes it fit great in small and big hands and the paddles on the back never gt in the way. if u game this is a must have i personally do not and wont play if i dont have one of these. if u pick a diffrent controller u might as well be playing with a cast on!

Worth the $90 (new/used), just take care of it
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The grips are nice, the mutiple pads are really nice i have smaller hands so two is enough, clicking one button can set 3 different preset paddle binds, its inconvenient if your good at multiple games that need different button binds, Many reviews and people say that the bumbers start to fail first but really just take care of it and dont just set it anywhere
