Like most sequels, not as good as the first.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Personally, I prefer the Series 1, simply for reliability. The controller itself is high quality, fits well in the hands, and for PC gamers, the software is easy to use. I've owned two Series 2 controllers, and the first had stick drift after a couple months, and the most recent is having issues with a paddle functioning correctly. With warranty, it's a good call.

Amazing controller! Buy this bad boy!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller! Yes it is expensive. But it is heavy and sturdy. Almost everything can be replaced (like the thumb sticks). Battery life is amazing too. I can play Cyberpunk all day and it doesn’t lose power. I love this bad boy and gave it a nickname. Lol. JK.

Great controller!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller has a very premium feeling. I had the last variation of the Elite controller and it served me well for a couple of years. Eventually I started to get some stick drift and the rubberized grips started to come off. This controller is nicer than it's predecessor and I've seen no such problems yet.

Higher Cost=Poorer Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never do reviews, but I guess I’m starting. I love these controllers. Works perfectly on Xbox or PC + paddles. But. As the price gets higher the quality becomes more of an issue. 3rd controller that has fallen apart, this one did last a good year and a half which I’m happy about but this controller specifically the grip around it absolutely wears out before the first year of use. 2 of the controllers I’ve had plastic breaks inside the controller without raging being involved (hasn’t effected use). The response mechanism for the triggers is probably the worst, maybe works for a week and wears its self out unless you’re super soft on the triggers all the time. It’s just no longer worth the cost when it seems it’s only designed to last until the warranty runs out. I don’t care to buy new controllers obviously but “premium” controllers should be able to withstand heavy use and not naturally fall apart within a year. IMO.

Just amazing. Well worth its cost.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is just amazing. I was skeptical to order based on cost but I would recommend it with ease after using it. The controller just feels much more premium and solid compared to the Original Elite. The customzations are better, the grips are better, the triggers are a pleasure. Even the Xbox Home button has been upgraded and is sturdy and not "Squishy". Within a few minutes of customizing I noticed an immediate different in my MW abilities. I didnt expect to notice any real difference, but it was there!!! The charging base is also a huge blessing. I was excited to see it was USB-C as it was the biggest thing I hated about the xbox controllers of past (micro USB is terrible), however the dock has made that moot anyway!! Also unlike the cable, putting it on the dock charges it without turning the xbox back on!

Microsoft - Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller Review
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the only controller that works for me. It's got a quality feel as a heavier controller, the paddles are ergonomically placed, and the thumbsticks allow for good control. However, I would only recommend this controller to those that are gentle with their controllers or that have the disposable income to keep replacing it. I have had at least 8 of these over the years and I have to keep replacing because the thumbsticks get drift rather quickly, and I've had frequent issues with the paddles becoming unusable or the bumpers becoming unusable. Get the protection plan!

Solid Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best solid controller. Very well made and it’s really good product. The paddles are not plastic but solid some sort of metal. The controller is little heavier side but feels good to hold. It feels you paid for a good product and not just plastic.

Paddles are like a extra set of hands.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really nice. My son loves it for the games he plays. Fortnight is good with it because of the paddles he can build immediately without backing out and the other games work real well with it. The paddles are very convenient. Pricy though.

Great controller!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really happy with the quality. The components are each mag based and they are extremely easy to swap out. My only negative comment is the lack of a dedicated screen capture button. It can be mapped as a shift function but i miss the single button ease of use. Otherwise it's a great controller for fighting games and FPS's like Destiny 2

Worth It
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best controller i’ve ever had. I’ve been so hesitant to buy it but then I went out and bought it and man it’s amazing. Not only does it have a good comfortable grip while gaming, BUT it also gives you a bit of personalization. I get that it’s pricy but if you’re on the fence, I would definitely recommend.

Xbox elite controller 2nd gen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controllers battery has a long battery charge and I like they use a C type charging cable. This second generation Xbox elite controller is a lot better than the first generation controller because they did Add more upgrades to it to customize it to your play style

Well made and easy to charge!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller is very nice and well made. You can program it to do whatever you want. It’s solid and a nice weight. My favorite feature is that it charges when you put it back in the case, no plugging it in. I use this controller exclusively now.
