One thing to consider about this product is that the thumb sticks will wear out over time after each use, resulting in a common issue in controllers called "stick drift" which is currently inevitable. Microsoft has yet to manufacture perfect thumb sticks that will not cause this issue. Other than that, everything else about this controller is perfect.

This controller is the very best one in the market and now with this aforable price its an easy recommendation for anyone wanting a pro controller with the option to get all the extra fearures down the line, but for starters just the trigger stops, internal battery and comfort I think is well worth it.

Outside of the known issues with stick drift, I exclusively play Xbox daily utilizing my elite controller. The trigger settings and ability to swap out my sticks for different play styles definitely improved my game play. Heck I bought a second one for my pc

After needing to replace my series one elite controller, I was able to get in an order for pickup for the series two. And while I haven’t encountered any drift issues, I have a sticky/defunct A button. So now I have one dedicated paddle after doing some remapping of the paddle controls to manipulate the function of the A button. It’s not ideal, however it works in a pinch, took some adjustments on my case, as I had not used the paddles on my series one. Lucked out on the left and right bumper/trigger buttons as they all work without a hitch. I do like how you can adjust the tension in the control sticks a major improvement over the series one, though I do see this eventually leading towards drift issues, especially since I have mine pretty much as loose as possible, FPS and the like, gaming pretty much faster/wider range of motion. To that end I did get geek squad coverage, should a drift issue arise. I can understand why the price may be a no go for some, but if you’ve got a Series S/X, then why not have a controller on the same par (more or less)?

Works Great!! Got this for my son who is an avid gamer so takes lot of use.

Would recommend for competitive gamers, for casuals who are just looking for a controller I’ll say this is expensive for your needs. Crazy helpful in certain games where you don’t want to constantly take your thumb off the analog stick. Great customization options like response curves, trigger and analog deadzones, trigger locks, analog tension and you can set custom profiles for specific games.

very wow. i would sell my soul to never have to use a regular xbox controller again. would even trade my kids for a life time supply of these bad boys! if your on the fence buy one , TRUST ME! Your wife might leave you but the controller will always be by your side! for at least the time of your warranty.

Excellent quality and product. I adore the red color. My only complaint is the fragility of the sticks, but my geek squad protection makes me feel better about it.

Nice feel, great grip and heft. Also comes with a very nice charging cradle.

Really nice feel and touch, premium but a little to high priced but it’s worth on how long it will last.

This is a great update to the first one. Finally uses USB-C. I can’t tell the difference in feel like some other say but you do notice a difference in the joysticks which is a great upgrade. The battery lasts about the same amount of time but I’m not a great example of this because I don’t play everyday. My only complaint is I think they are just to expensive and don’t see why they need to be almost $200. These should be more closer to $100-$130 range!

elite controllers are some of the best on the market and this is a good compromise for price if you dont want to spend the extra money for others.
